Since 2021, the KEYJ Foundation has used music as a powerful tool for connection, expression and hope. Through our Concerts, Music Over Mind (MOM) Bands and community-based music platforms, we create opportunities for young people to discover their talents, build confidence and experience the joy of being seen and celebrated.
At the heart of our work is the belief that music can change lives. Our events do more than showcase talent — they create lasting, music structures that encourage creativity, teamwork, discipline and belonging. By giving young musicians a public platform to perform, we help spark passion, aspiration and possibility for future careers in music, the arts and the creative industries.
Over the years, we have hosted multiple live music events, fundraisers and initiatives that bring communities together while uplifting young people from underserved areas. These events create safe, inspiring spaces where learners can express themselves, connect with mentors and develop a sense of purpose through music.
A key part of our mission is the development of Music & Mental Health Ambassadors — young people and mentors who inspire the next generation through lived experience, leadership and peer support. Through these programmes, we aim to nurture resilience, emotional wellbeing and positive identity alongside musical growth.
As a non-profit organisation, this remains our core function: using music and community engagement to empower youth, strengthen schools and create opportunities that inspire hope, healing and long-term impact.
Our gallery showcases the journey of our work, featuring the events and concerts we have hosted since our inception.
