Bursaries & Funding
_edited.png)
The KeyJ Foundation supports the upliftment of young (and young at heart) adults, through funding of bursaries, musicians, music entertainers, music teacher fees and mental health awareness campaigns.
Bursaries
Annual bursaries will be awarded to students in need of funding. A formal procedure is followed, and funding will be opened early in each year, for funding applications to be submitted.
Musicians
A key aspect of the foundation’s vision and mission is the promotion of local musicians, in support of career growth, performance opportunities and income generation.
Music Teacher Fees
The foundation has previously made funding contribution towards the payment of teacher salaries. Since music is not an integral part of Education in South Africa, yet can provide such a major contribution to positive overall mental health and growth of individuals – wherever funds allow, our foundation will support music teachers in communities in need
